Kelly Clarkson is an American performer and songwriter. She was the nation's love interest after winning the American Idol title in the first season of the competition. The win has not just made her famous, but also led to her signing a contract for several albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings as along with 'S Recordings. In the years since, she's released numerous studio albums, including three albums that made it to the top list of the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just failed to make the cut. She's one of the biggest artists that have come out from American Idol. The singer experimented and gained popularity with various themes and different musical styles. She was often the one to write her own songs. She earned critical acclaim and numerous prestigious awards due to her distinctiveness and singing ability. She has been awarded the Grammy Award 3 times. Alongside her music professional career, she has also appeared on television and in movies. She also penned the kids' book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved in a variety of charitable organisations.
