Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton was born on January 19, 1946, on the 19th of January 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. She lived with 12 other kids. She had a vivid imagination that enabled her to escape the harsh realities of everyday life. Before she began learning to write or read, she was writing her own songs. In 8 years, she acquired her first guitar. In the age of 11, she began to sing at the Knoxville Tennessee radio station. The first album she recorded was in the same calendar year on Gold Band Records, a tiny independent label. Despite being in school, she had already established herself on the local scene. Her goal was to be more widely recognized. Following her graduation in 1964, she relocated to Nashville. Her first charting hits with Monument Records included Dumb Blonde and Something Fishy both in 1967. Porter Wagoner, a syndicated presenter on television was at the time looking for a female singer for his program. Parton took the job in 1966. She then joined RCA Records in 1968, and the Grand Ole Opry was founded in 1969. Her departure from the show came, however, in 1974 due to her solo albums, like Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene beat out their collaborative albums. Following their breakup, Parton wrote the song I Will Always Love You for Wagoner and the song reached Number. Its first appearance at No. 1 was 1974.
